U19 attendance record: 50,000 Cologne supporters for a Youth League match!
Cologne has just set the attendance record for a U19 category match: 50,000 supporters of 1. FC Köln attended RheinEnergieStadion for the Youth League Round of 16 against Inter Milan.

Germany is renowned for having an exceptional stadium culture, and has proven it once again.
After breaking attendance records for matches of women's teams, a new record has just been set this Wednesday 4 February 2026 in Youth League.
50,000 supporters in U19.
Cologne hosted Inter Milan this Wednesday for their Round of 16 clash against Inter. For the occasion, the match took place at the RheinEnergieStadion of the professional first team.
And the fans showed up: 50,000 Cologne supporters came to the RheinEnergieStadion to support their U19 team for this fixture.
A record for a Youth League match, once again against Inter.
The Youth League attendance record was held by Trabzonspor with 40,000 supporters at the ground against Inter Milan on 1 April 2025 in the Youth League quarter-final.
With 50,000 supporters against Inter this Wednesday evening, Cologne beats this record attendance by 10,000 spectators.
