The Groupama Stadium is the 3rd largest stadium in France in terms of capacity. It is a multifunctional venue (Sport and Culture).
The energy that powers it is 100% renewable, thanks in particular to solar panels that cover its roof.
It has hosted major football competitions such as the Women's World Cup (semi-finals and final), UEFA Euro 2016 and UEFA Europa League 2018 (final). It has also hosted the Top 14 semi-finals and the finals of the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup.
It hosted matches from the Rugby World Cup France 2023.
The Stade de Lyon became an Olympic venue that hosted several men's and women's football matches at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

🎉 Groupama Stadium has 2 supporter stands (ultras, supporter groups...) : the South Stand and the North Stand (lower blocks of the stands).
The away supporters' section is located in the North-West quarter stand (last ring under the roof).
The players' bench and the presidential stand are located in the East stand.
