Practical info

Goodison Park was the 1st major football stadium built in England. It is the only ground in the world to have a church in one corner of the stadium.

It hosted 5 matches of the 1966 World Cup.

Everton FC members are nicknamed the "Toffees", the first club to wear numbers on their shirts.

A new stadium, the Hill Dickinson Stadium (Everton Stadium) was built at Bramley-Moore Dock.

It will host FC Everton from the 2025/2026 season.

Tourism around the stadium

👀 What to See / What to Do in Liverpool?

Stroll along the waterfront at Royal Albert Dock, a former dock redeveloped into restaurants, shops and museums, very popular but peaceful and well-regarded. (inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage)

Walk in the footsteps of The Beatles at the "Beatles Story Museum" and for fans explore Penny Lane or visit Strawberry Field. A statue of the band stands in front of the Royal Liver Building. From the top of this tower, you can enjoy a 360° view.

In the Pier Head area, discover the "Three Graces", iconic buildings of the city. In the Cunard Building is housed the "British Music Experience" dedicated to British music.

From the top of Radio City Tower you will get another 360° view of the city.
