Celtic Park

Celtic FC has resided at Celtic Park since 1892.

There have been several "Celtic Parks". As the rent for the first became too high, the club moved to a second ground with the same name located nearby. 

A journalist compared this move to a passage "from the graveyard to Paradise", hence the nickname "Paradise" given to Celtic Park.

The East stand is called "Lisbon Lions".

How to buy tickets for a Celtic match at Celtic Park?

🎟️ Tickets are available on the Celtic FC online ticketing platform.

Sales are always initially reserved for members, then may open to the general public if seats remain (except major matches and derbies).

✅ General public sales generally open around ten days before the match. You need to keep a close eye on the opening, as tickets sell out quickly.

How to get to Celtic Park by public transport?

🚅 By train from Glasgow city centre, take directions for Dalmarnock and Bridgeton.

🚍 By bus, from the city centre, take First Bus company, lines 2, 61, 64, 255 and 240, to the Forge shopping centre located on Gallowgate, 1.6 km from the stadium.

✈️ Bus 500 Airport Express connects Glasgow Airport from station 1 to the city centre.

🅿️ Access to the areas around Celtic Park is very congested on matchdays. It is advisable to plan ahead if you are driving. Parking is limited, particularly at Lisbon Lions1 car park. Public transport is preferable.

🚲 Celtic Park is 10 minutes by bike from Glasgow city centre and Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street stations. Bike racks can be found at the Superstore (5) and near the Billy McNeill statue (8). A Nextbike bike-sharing station is available at the Emirates Arena opposite the stadium.

🚶🏽‍♂️Celtic Park is a 45-minute walk from the city centre.

How to travel to Glasgow?

✈️ There is an airport in Glasgow: Glasgow Airport (GLA). You will find departures from Paris, Marseille, Brussels.

There is another alternative: Edinburgh Airport, which is close to Glasgow, connected by a train line (journey time approximately 1 hour)

Glasgow Airport is connected to the city centre by a shuttle 🚍, the Glasgow Airport Express (journey time approximately 15 minutes). Tickets can be purchased from the driver or online.
