Allianz Arena hosted several matches at Euro 2024 (notably the opening match).
🏆 The stadium also hosted the opening match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the 2012 Champions League final and several matches at Euro 2020.
🏟️ The facade of Allianz Arena is made up of 2,874 air cushions kept inflated by a constant flow of pressurised air. These transparent panels equipped with LEDs can be illuminated independently of each other in any colour. You can see Allianz Arena from very far away!
This transparent facade has the main advantage of allowing sunlight through, essential for maintaining grass quality.

How to buy tickets for FC Bayern Munich matches at Allianz Arena?
Ticket sales for FC Bayern Munich matches are only available through the club's online ticketing system (link below).
🔒 Bayern Munich's ticketing system is generally reserved for members, except for rare matches if the opponent is not attractive and if the stakes are low (end of season).
As a member, it is possible to enter draws to gain access to ticket purchases. This happens several months before each match.
💸 Ticket prices are approximately between €15 and €100 (in the league).

🔄 Yes, ticket resale is available through Bayern Munich. This resale is only accessible to members. Season ticket holders and ticket holders can resell their tickets at purchase price.
How and why become a Bayern Munich member?

💸 Membership costs approximately €65 for one year. The process takes several weeks to be validated.

⚔️ The most famous clash is the Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Dortmund, but the historic Klassiker is between Bayern Munich and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

How to get to Allianz Arena by public transport?
🚇 There is a direct metro line from the city centre to the stadium: U6 direction Garching Forschungszentrum, exit Fröttmaning U-Bahn station
Every 2 minutes from "Odeonsplatz" or "Marienplatz"
There is then a 20-minute walk (a long avenue to the stadium). Allow 40 minutes in total from the city centre.
⚠️ Make sure to check your stadium entrance so you can plan the necessary walking time around the stadium.

👀 What to see / What to do in Munich?
🍻 Munich is not known only for the Oktoberfest (the unmissable Beer Festival that takes place every October).
📍 You will enjoy the atmosphere of its historic centre around Marienplatz, its Biergartens (open-air breweries), the English Garden, the German Museum and ... the BMW Museum. The centre is crisscrossed with "Passagen" lined with shops and at the turn of which you will be able to discover small courtyards lined with terraces where you can enjoy a traditional Kaiserschmarrn, a Schnitzel or any other tasty specialty.
You will also be able to enjoy the Nymphenburg Palace, the Residenz or one of the most famous historic breweries "Hofbräuhaus"
👀 Also worth seeing: Maxvorstadt (galleries, museums), Kunstareal (art), numerous parks and Eisbach (artificial river and its surfing wave)
