How to buy your tickets for the 2026 World Cup?

For the 2026 World Cup, the only official ticketing office is FIFA's, accessible exclusively online via their official website. Be wary of resellers or unauthorised platforms.

FIFA has planned several ticket sales phases. Here is the schedule and current terms:

 

1 - Visa presale phase

The first phase took place from 10 to 19 September 2025. This period was reserved for Visa cardholders. 

1 million tickets were sold during this sales phase.

 

2 - Early draw phase

A second wave of sales opens from 27 to 31 October 2025.
You must register before 27 October on FIFA's website and wait for the draw result to get the opportunity to purchase tickets.
At this stage, the match fixtures will not yet be known.

 

3 - Random selection draw

The third phase will begin after the group draw, scheduled for 5 December 2025.
Exact dates will be announced later.
During this stage, you will be able to submit requests for specific matches, now identified.
A draw will then determine which buyers are selected from all requests.

 

4 - Last-minute sales

Finally, a last sales phase will be organised as the tournament approaches, on a "first come, first served" basis.
FIFA will communicate the exact date shortly.

 

Ticketing practical information

• You can buy up to 4 tickets per match, with a maximum of 40 tickets for the entire competition.
• It is forbidden to buy tickets for two matches on the same day.
• You can request to be seated next to your loved ones from your FIFA account, with no guarantee that your request will be accepted.
• Payments will be made in US dollars (USD), except for residents of Canada and Mexico, who may pay in their local currency.
• All tickets will be digital, available only via FIFA's official application. Further details will be published as the event approaches.
