The French Cup is approaching its conclusion with the semi-finals on 21 and 22 April 2026: RC Lens will host Toulouse FC while RC Strasbourg Alsace will host OGC Nice. 

 

Construction work prevents the final on Saturday evening at Stade de France.

The final initially scheduled for Saturday 23 May 2026 cannot be held because construction work on Grand Paris is causing the closure of RER lines B and D, the main transport links to access the Stade de France.

Two options were therefore available to the FFF: move the final to Friday 22 May so it could be played at the Stade de France, or relocate it to Groupama Stadium in Lyon to keep it on Saturday 23 May. A choice that sparked much debate.

 

The final will be played on Friday 22 May at Stade de France.

Keen on playing in a neutral and historic stadium, the FFF decided to place the 2026 French Cup final on Friday 22 May at 21:00 at the Stade de France.

The Stade de France is the stadium for finals and the French national team, so it was the priority for the FFF.

 

How to buy tickets for the 2026 French Cup final.

There is no official information yet regarding ticket sales for the final. However, the system is generally the same each year: each finalist club receives approximately 20,000 tickets which it manages itself for distribution to its supporters.

The remaining tickets are allocated partly to the FFF and its partners. The rest are sold to the general public through the FFF's online ticketing platform. For example, sales opened on 13 May last year. We will relay information in real-time on our Stadium Traveller X account.
