2024 closed with a successful crowdfunding campaign thanks to you, the Stadium Traveller community of stadium enthusiasts. Thanks to this campaign, Stadium Traveller was able to continue growing and 2025 has been a year full of developments. Here's a look back at the major news and updates from this year!

 

February 2025: stadium tour in Spain invited by 3 clubs.

At the end of February we completed a tour of 6 Spanish stadiums in 5 days, featuring: Betis Seville, Malaga, Granada, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and FC Seville. 

During this trip we had the chance to be invited by 3 clubs to discover the behind-the-scenes of their stadium on matchday:

• Granada at the Nuevo Estadio de los Carmenes which has the best attendance rate in the second division. A unique feature of this stadium is the beautiful view of the mountains in the background. For the occasion the club gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium before the match and we experienced the warm-up from the side of the pitch.
• Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena. The club welcomed us in their hospitality area. The celebration of Real Sociedad's goals is one of the most original in Europe: all supporters turn around and jump together, a beautiful ritual.
• FC Seville at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, a multi-champion club in Europe. The club invited us with a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium before the match, warm-up from the side of the pitch and a unique exceptional experience: welcoming the players at the entrance to their dressing room upon arrival at the stadium. It's a unique experience offered by the club at every matchday.

 

March 2025: trip with our partner Slavia Prague with 6 community members.

In March we organised a trip to Prague to discover the behind-the-scenes of Slavia Prague at the Eden Arena, whose supporters are among the most renowned in Europe in recent years.

This weekend was organised through our crowdfunding campaign, 6 community members joined us. The programme included notably watching the Liberec vs Sparta Prague match as well as Zizkov vs Zlin.

We finished with the Slavia Prague match, with an exclusive tour of the stadium.

 

September 2025: discovery trip of the Enigmatch concept.

In September Enigmatch invited us to discover their concept: the mystery trip around a football match. We kept the surprise until we arrived at the airport without knowing the destination. Heading to Valencia and the mythical Mestalla.

A weekend discovering the beautiful city of Valencia, with the beach, and a very impressive stadium.

 

November 2025: release of the book "Legendary Stadiums and Clubs" by Fabien Lévêque with Stadium Traveller's participation.

In November Fabien Lévêque, iconic journalist at France TV, released the book "Legendary Stadiums and Clubs": a journey across the 30 most legendary stadiums in Europe. A very beautiful collector's book in which we had the honour to be invited to share our tips, advice and anecdotes on these 30 stadiums. We offer the book for sale here.

 

December 2026: a half-page in L'Équipe as a reference for the 2026 World Cup.

Early December, L'Équipe released an article "Ticketing, visa, accommodation, travel: the how-to guide for the 2026 World Cup" during the group stage draw. Stadium Traveller featured in this article as a reference for the 2026 World Cup to organise your trip with all our information and recommendations. December 2026: Aberdeen invited us for a Conference League match.

Aberdeen Football Club invited us for a Conference League match against Strasbourg at Pittodrie Stadium. We had the opportunity to discover Scottish football culture through immersion at the heart of the locals.

 

Furthermore, the community is growing day by day especially on social networks, follow us everywhere: Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, YouTube ... A great year full of developments for Stadium Traveller.
