3Arena (Tele2 Arena)

The 3Arena is a multifunctional stadium. It is the 3rd largest stadium in Sweden.

It was renamed "3Arena" in late 2024, after being named "Tele2Arena" for many years.

The clubs Djurgarden IF and Hammarby IF share the 3Arena.

It was built to host the Ice Hockey World Championships in 2013 but was completed too late. It hosted the American football World Cup in 2015 as well as concerts such as Madonna's in 2013 and 2023.

It received the award for "Best Arena / Sports Temple" at the Stadium Business Awards in 2014.

It is labelled UEFA 4-star Stadium.

How to get to the 3Arena by public transport?

🚇 By Metro
The green metro line (no. 17, 18 and 19) takes you to the 3Arena in just a few minutes from T-Centralen. Get off at Globen.

Other stations are nearby, and only a few minutes' walk from the arena:

– Gullmarsplan
– Skärmarbrink
– Blåsut
– Sandsborg
– Enskede Gård

🚅 The Commuter Train
The commuter train, which stops at Globen and Gullmarsplan stations, is a convenient option if you want to reach the arena by commuter train. Then switch to the commuter train at Årstaberg. If you're coming from Sickla, the commuter train is the smoothest way to travel.

🚍 By Bus
Several bus lines take you almost to the 3Arena. The Gullmarsplan bus station is only 8 minutes' walk away.

🚲 1,000 parking spaces for bicycles are available at the 3Arena. You can access it by bike via a path from Medborgarplatsen. Wide cycle paths are also available along Arenavaägen and Arenaslingan.

🚶🏽‍♂️ On foot
The stadium is accessible from central Stockholm, from Södermalm, via the Skanstull bridge.

🅿️ Access by car: A car park is available under the 3Arena (650 spaces), but it fills up quickly. The "Globen Shopping" shopping centre offers a car park with 1,500 spaces, also filling up quickly. It is strongly recommended to use public transport to reach the 3Arena.

🛜 The stadium features free WiFi, latest generation 5G, a retractable roof to allow events in any weather, 600 digital screens and many other technological innovations.

🌭 Many kiosks are found in the Arena, offering all kinds of drinks, snacks and sweet or savoury refreshments. Premium visitors can also enjoy a very large bar with a privileged view of the pitch/stage.
