How to buy your tickets for the 2026 World Cup?
For the 2026 World Cup, the only official ticketing platform is FIFA's, accessible exclusively online via their official website. Avoid resellers or unauthorised platforms (any sales outside FIFA).
2 initial sales phases have already taken place with nearly 2M tickets sold out of 7M tickets for sale for the competition. During these 2 phases, tickets were sold via lottery draw without knowing the matchups.
Now we know the matchups.
The 3rd sales phase opens from Thursday 11 December 2025 at 5pm to Tuesday 13 January 2026 at 5pm.
During this period you can request tickets for any match. There will then be a lottery draw with results in February to purchase requested tickets. Demand is extremely high, you need a lot of luck to be drawn.
A final sales phase will be organised as the tournament approaches, on a "first come, first served" basis.
FIFA will announce the exact date later.
Ticket resale.
To combat the black market, FIFA has set up a resale platform with no price limits.
You can therefore find tickets being resold on this platform at any time.
Resale will reopen from Monday 15 December at 5pm.

Ticketing practical information
- You can buy up to 4 tickets per match, within a limit of 40 tickets maximum for the entire competition.
- It is forbidden to buy tickets for two matches on the same day.
- You can request to be seated next to your loved ones from your FIFA account, with no guarantee that your request will be accepted.
- Payments will be made in US dollars ($ USD), except for residents of Canada and Mexico, who can pay in their local currency.
- All tickets will be digital, available only via the official FIFA app. Further details will be published as the event approaches.
