Le Club Brugge a annoncé avoir le permis de construire son nouveau stade, pour une inauguration prévue pour la saison 2028/2029.
Club Brugge has been playing at the Jan Breydel Stadium for 50 years, built in 1975. The club regularly plays in Europe.
The Jan Breydel Stadium is an increasingly dilapidated stadium that no longer meets modern standards.
The club has been considering building a new stadium for over 20 years.
A new 40,000-capacity stadium.
Club Brugge announced on Thursday, 9 July, that it has been granted permission to build its new 40,000-capacity stadium.
The club hopes construction work will begin by the end of 2026.
Completion of the work is expected for the start of the 2028/2029 season.
