Wembley Stadium is the largest stadium in the United Kingdom and the 2nd largest in Europe. It was built for the 2012 Olympics to replace the previous stadium which was demolished in 2003. Pelé nicknamed the original Wembley Stadium "the temple of football". It had hosted the 1948 Olympics and the 1966 FIFA World Cup.

The arch of the new Wembley Stadium is 134 metres high. It is visible 24km around. It was designed without pillars to avoid any obstruction to visibility. It is illuminated.

Parking in the surrounding area is reserved for residents on matchdays. Parking spaces available at the stadium must be booked in advance.

Wembley Park station is served by the Jubilee and Metropolitan Underground lines. Wembley Stadium is served by Chiltern Railways. Wembley Central Station is served by the Bakerloo Underground line, London Overground, London Midland & Southern Un.
