Access, transport & parking
The Tyne and Wear Metro serves the stadium via Stadium of Light and St Peter's stations.
After matches, supporters travelling to South Hylton should board at St Peter's, whilst those heading north towards Newcastle should use Stadium of Light station.
Buses numbers 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 15 and 16 all stop nearby.
Practical info
Sunderland Station approximately 15 minutes' walk from the stadium.
Parking at the stadium is limited.
Parking restrictions are in place on over 60 streets surrounding the stadium.
Fans should use the Park and Ride on Wessington Way (A1231). It is easily accessible from the A19 and is clearly signposted.
Buses depart from the permanent bus stops at Sunderland Enterprise Park whilst stadium pick-up points are located to the north on Kier Hardie Way. Buses run every five minutes before the match from 90 minutes before kick-off and regularly after the match.
Parking is available at two sites of Sunderland University - the A183 (Chester Road) and St Peter's. Both are clearly signposted.
