Tourism around the stadium
What to do / What to see in Utrecht?
You will enjoy a stroll through the old centre of Utrecht, the cathedral tower (Domtoren) which offers panoramic views of the city, 🏰 St Martin's Cathedral (Domkerk) and its surprising history, the Pandhof (courtyard typical of cloisters),...
Many canals run through the city, in particular the Oudegracht canal (old canal) which is lined with restaurants and cafés, where you can enjoy traditional croquettes or aperitif boards depending on the time of day.
The city also features some modern architecture buildings near the old centre towards the station district, the City Hall, TivoliVredenburg, the Rietveld Schröder House listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site... a giant teapot or a flying saucer perched on rooftops...
The atmosphere in this city is festive, with numerous events organised there, and it also has many museums.
🚲 You won't escape the clichés of bikes and cheese shops 🧀
