Diego Armando Maradona Stadium hosted the Rome Olympics in 1960, Mediterranean Games in 1963, European Football Championship 1968, European Football Championship 1980, and FIFA World Cup 1990.
Formerly known as "Stadio del Sole" (1959-1963) and "San Paolo Stadium" (1963-2020).
The stadium was renamed following Diego Armando Maradona's death in November 2020.

Le stade Diego Armando Maradona, c’est vraiment une expérience de passion pure. On sent que Naples vit pour le foot, avec une ferveur authentique qui se ressent dès le coup…
Bonne ambiance même si il y a des moments de silence. Entrée difficile car beaucoup de queue, prévoir de venir 30-45 mn en avance. Peu de sécurité, pas de fouille. Le pire est…
