Artemio Franchi Stadium is home to AFC Fiorentina.

It has hosted:

• the 1934 FIFA World Cup
• the 1960 Summer Olympic Games
• the 1968 UEFA European Football Championship
• the 1990 FIFA World Cup

Formerly known as "Stadio Giovanni Berta" (1931–1945) and "Stadio Comunale" (1945–1993)

It underwent several renovations, notably in preparation for the 1990 World Cup.

The stadium is located just 3km from Florence's historic centre, making it easily accessible on foot.

You can also reach it by bus and train (Florence Campo di Marte Station is 200m from the stadium).

Parking near the stadium is complicated. There is only a 300-space car park at Piazza Alberti.
