A stadium steeped in history

The stadium was inaugurated in 1928, 17 years after the club's creation, which proudly bears a Latin name meaning "Poland". This patriotic name was born under Russian occupation, marking an act of defiance and courage.
During the Second World War, the stadium was entirely destroyed, like 85% of Warsaw. It reopened in 1950 after a partial reconstruction, but has undergone little modernisation since. The stadium consists of three main stands:

• Main stand (Główna): for spectators and VIPs.
• Kamienna stand: home of the ultras.

Ultras can sometimes gather in zone C1 of the main stand during less-attended matches. Conversely, during major fixtures, zone C1 may be allocated to away supporters if their numbers are large.
