Key facts
Historically, the people of Laval played at Stade Jean Yvinec until the construction of Stade Le Basser in 1971 at the initiative of Mayor Francis Le Basser. It underwent transformations to meet standards in 2001 in particular, and the North stand was renovated in 2021.
Modernisation work is under study, with work starting between 2025 and 2030.
Planned: Expansion of the stadium footprint, renovation of existing stands and construction of 2 additional stands behind the goals to accommodate 14,000 supporters, Museum, retail facilities.
