Stade Bollaert-Delelis

In 1906, the year Racing Club de Lens was founded, the players had no dedicated stadium. The Lens Mining Company, which would play a role in the construction of the current stadium, made fallow land available to them. On November 6, 1929, the Mining Company decided to purchase a plot of land to build a new stadium, thus showing its support for the Lens club. The stadium was inaugurated in 1932.

RC Lens is so attached to its supporters (the 12th man) that the number 12 has been withdrawn from kits and no player may wear it.

Stade Bollaert has a capacity of 38,223 seats, the 8th largest stadium in France.

 

HOW TO BUY TICKETS FOR MATCHES AT STADE BOLLAERT?

🎟️ Tickets can be purchased online from the RC Lens ticketing office a few weeks before the match. Note that a resale system is in place on the same ticketing platform to find in real time places resold by season ticket holders.

 

WHAT ARE THE STANDS AT STADE BOLLAERT?

🎉 The active stand where notably the ultras congregate is located in Marek-Xerces Stand (North, lower stand on the plan).

The away supporters' section is located in Trannin Stand (West, blocks 2.7, 1.7 and 0.7 on the plan).

The players' bench and presidential stand are located in Lepagnot Stand (South).

HOW TO ACCESS STADE BOLLAERT?

Stade Bollaert is located in the heart of the city.

🚶🏽‍♂️ Access on foot from Lens railway station in 10 minutes.

 

🅿️ There is an uncovered car park with 550 spaces on site. Parking around the stadium is reserved for partners and the club,and Ave. Delelis is closed on matchdays. It is therefore recommended to prioritise public transport and use the P+R car parks in the city. 

🅿️+R  We recommend parking at the covered Arena Stadium in Liévin, from where TADAO shuttles will take you to Stade Bollaert every 10 minutes. The first shuttle departs 2 hours before kick-off. Journey time approximately 15 minutes. Return shuttles are available for 1 hour 25 minutes after the match.

Another P+R car park has been set up north of Lens at the CRVO car park (A21 exit 9). 

🆓 These shuttles and car parks are free for match ticket holders if booked via the RC Lens app. 

This solution has been tested and approved by the Stadium Traveller team, it's very effective for avoiding parking hassles.

Other paid P+R car parks are available in Lens; you then need to get to the stadium on foot or by public transport.

 

HOW TO EAT AT STADE BOLLAERT IN LENS?

🌭 Many stands are located in the stands and concourses with hot and cold food: chips, hot dogs, fricadellas, sandwiches, usual snacks, drinks ...

Payment is possible by card and cash.

Outside the stadium there are also stands selling chips, burgers, fricadellas, sausages ...

🥤 Note that reusable cups are banned in the stadium.

 

IS THERE A LEFT LUGGAGE AT STADE BOLLAERT?

🛅 Yes, left luggage facilities are located at the foot of each entrance during security checks (security) for your belongings such as helmets, umbrellas ...

❌ However, due to security alert level measures, bags and suitcases are prohibited in left luggage (and in the stadium).

🔋 Attention, portable batteries may be refused in the stadium.

 

IS THERE A SHOP AT STADE BOLLAERT?

🏪 Yes, an RC Lens shop is located on the external plaza of the stadium, at the entrance to the path leading to the Lepagnot stand.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO VISIT STADE BOLLAERT IN LENS?
