Practical info

Since its opening in 2015, the stadium has been named "Matmut Atlantique" through naming rights with insurer Matmut. From 1st August 2025, the naming rights are not renewed and the stadium is called "Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole".

 

The Stade de Bordeaux was built for the 2016 European Football Championship. It has hosted a League Cup final in football and the semi-finals of the Top 14 (Rugby) on two occasions.

It hosted matches from the Rugby World Cup France 2023.

It hosted football at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole has a capacity of 42,115 seats, the 6th largest stadium in France.

 

Technical feature: Its roof is covered with 700m² of solar panels.

Match days : "Parc des Expositions": Tram C and Bus B and shuttle from Brandenburg / "Vergne": Bus 25
