Key facts

SoFi Stadium is located in Inglewood, California, in the heart of a vast sports and entertainment complex, Hollywood Park. Originally it was called Los Angeles Stadium. Sofi is a naming deal signed in 2019.

It is home to the American football teams Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers (NFL 🏈).

SoFi Stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL and also one of the most expensive in the world. A pinnacle of modernity. It is covered by a huge roof that is largely translucent and air-conditioned. It is also equipped with a massive 4K UHD screen (6500m²), the "Infinity Screen", oval-shaped, double-sided, suspended above the field. 
In the extension of the stadium, the roof also covers a pedestrian plaza, formerly "Champions Plaza" now "American Airlines Plaza", and an adjacent performance venue "YouTube Theater".

SoFi Stadium will host matches from the FIFA World Cup 2026 and is expected to host the opening ceremonies of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games (LA28). To comply with FIFA rules, the stadium will be called Los Angeles Stadium during the World Cup.

How to get to SoFi Stadium by public transport?

The city is crisscrossed by a dense bus network and 5 metro lines. 
💳 To travel, you can find out about the "TAP" card.

The "LA Metro" website lists the different modes of public transport to reach the stadium.   

🚇 by Metro
Metro E Line then take a transfer on Metro K Line, to "Downtown Inglewood" Station.

🚍 by Bus
Line 40, to the "La Brea / Tamarack" Station, then walk for about 20 minutes.

Practical info

🚨 It is forbidden to park on the street during events in the city of Inglewood. The city has a residential parking permit system in effect on all city streets. Street and neighbourhood parking is subject to a permit and will be strictly monitored.

🅿️ There are numerous parking lots distributed in zones at SoFi Stadium. It is recommended to purchase your parking space (Pass) in advance online, the price changes as the event date approaches. Be sure to load this Pass to your wallet. Given the crowds on match days, it is important to plan your route and arrive early.
Parking opens 4 hours before kick-off.


🚘 Rideshare / Carpooling (Dropoff)
The drop-off and pick-up zone is located on Kareem Court, between Pincay Drive and Manchester Boulevard.

🚲 SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park parking lots have bike racks. They are not monitored and you must bring your own lock.
🛴 Scooters are not allowed in the area.

🛅 Does SoFi Stadium offer a bag check service?
The rules for permitted or non-permitted bags are specific. Bags must be completely transparent with a maximum size of 30x30cm.
SoFi Stadium offers four paid bag check points. The bag check points are located at the south-west, north-west and north-east corners of the stadium.

👀 What to Do / What to See in Los Angeles?

✨ Walk in the footsteps of the stars on the forecourt of the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame and its 2,700 stars bearing the names of celebrities (Accessible by Metro Line B from Downtown, Hollywood/Highland Station)

🎬 Visit Universal Studios production facilities and the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park dedicated to cinema and its behind-the-scenes.
Visit Warner Bros Studios dedicated to cult American series. One of the options allows you to see an active film set.
Visit Paramount Pictures Studio which saw the production of Titanic, Mission: Impossible, Hitchcock films... 

🔭 Griffith Observatory south of Griffith Park offers an incredible panoramic view of the city down to the ocean, especially at sunset. The site is accessible by the DASH Observatory shuttle, from the Sunset/Vermont metro station on Sunset Blvd. 
Discover the incredible "Ennis House" with Maya-inspired architecture that served as a film set.
Hollywood Hills, cemetery to renowned residents.

You can also drive along Mulholland Drive: 🚘 scenic road over Hollywood Hills offering many viewpoints.

🦈 Visit the Pacific Aquarium in Long Beach, the largest in California (20,000 m²)

💸 Between Hollywood and Santa Monica, discover Beverly Hills, its palm tree-lined avenues 🌴, star mansions and luxury boutiques especially on Rodeo Drive, Melrose Ave, Sunset Blvd... the "Two Rodeo" shopping centre is a known photo spot. There are tourist circuits allowing you to see a number of star villas. The tourist office offers a map to identify star residences.

🏰 Downtown is the historic centre of L.A. mixing Buildings, truly original architectural achievements and the very picturesque "El Pueblo" which recreates the village at the origin of L.A. Take a walk on Olvera Street, visit the oldest house in the city Avila Adobe or Union Station.

Don't miss the interior courtyard of the Bradbury Building listed as a Historic Monument, its glass roof and historic staircases, former L.A. police headquarters.

The impressive "Beverly Hills City Hall", L.A. town hall, offers an "Observation Deck" on the 27th floor of a tower with panoramic views of the city. 👀

🗞️ The Los Angeles Times Building can be visited by reservation. It is a complex of 5 historic buildings that housed the Times offices.

  • Guided tours of the incredible Walt Disney Concert Hall and its curved steel facades.
  • The Getty Center with ultra-modern architecture offers panoramic views of L.A.
  • The Broad, incredible contemporary art museum very popular. You should book your tickets several weeks in advance.

  • Pershing Square right downtown
  • The Millennium Biltmore Hotel with "Beaux-Arts" style decoration contrasting with the general modernity.
  • The OUE Skyspace LA observatory offering a 360° view located on the 70th floor of the US Bank Tower (over 300m high) and the Skyslide, a 14m glass slide.


🕺 There are guided tours of Broadway, the historic stronghold of a large number of famous cinemas and theatres. (Roxie Theater, Million Dollar Theater…) The United Artists Theater has impressive decoration.

🍔 Grand Central Market is L.A.'s oldest market in Beaux-Arts style.
Farmers Market is at the intersection of Third Street and Fairfax. It is an institution, farmers offer their products there, you can taste specialities as well as dishes from around the world.


On the waterfront, you must not miss🏄 Venice Beach, haven for many artists, surfers, skaters, bodybuilders.

Santa Monica, is a seaside town at the end of Route 66, unique atmosphere especially at sunset, the big wheel at Santa Monica Pier 🩴

 

🏟️ On the Arenas side, there is plenty to enjoy:

The Intuit Dome, multi-purpose venue hosting notably the Clippers, NBA team🏀 formerly housed at the Staples Center.

Crypto.com Arena (Staples Center) is a 20,000-seat multi-purpose venue that opened in 1999. It hosts the Lakers (famous NBA team 🏀) as well as the Kings (Hockey 🏒); it also hosts boxing matches, concerts and many major events.

Dodger Stadium which is home to the legendary Baseball team (MLB) Dodgers ⚾. Guided tour recommended.

The Kia Forum (Inglewood) multi-purpose venue, former home of the Lakers and Kings before their move to the Staples Center.


For street art enthusiasts, take a walk in the Arts District neighbourhood.
