Schauinsland-reisen-arena (MSV Arena)

Wedau Stadium (Wedaustadion) was built in 1921. It was then Germany's 2nd largest stadium.

The club was crowned runner-up at the start of the Bundesliga 1963/64 season.

Formerly MSV Arena between 2004 and 2010.

Since its renovation during the 2003/04 season, the new arena has hosted the Zebras (MSV).

3 types of transport are available to get to Duisburg stadium: metro/tram (U-Bahn), bus and train (S-Bahn).

🚅 S-Bahn Line S1 (direction Düsseldorf-Unterrath) to "DU-Schlenk" then 10 mins walk

🚇 Metro/Tram Line U79 (direction Düsseldorf) to "Grunewald" or "Kulturstrasse" stop then 10 mins walk

• bus Line 934 (direction Großenbaum/Wedau Wolfssee) to "MSV-Arena" stop
• bus Line 939 (direction Klinikum Duisburg) to "MSV-Arena" stop
• bus Line 944 (direction Wedau Wolfssee) to "Sportschule Wedau" stop then 7 mins walk

On matchdays, the special bus line 945 runs throughout the Duisburg urban area (final stop: MSV-Arena).

With your match ticket, you are entitled to a free return journey on public transport (with your match ticket directly, you don't need to do anything special). You can take any public transport in the city as well as regional trains in the VRR zone (trains such as "RE" or S-Bahn, all information on the VRR zone by clicking here). To get to Duisburg stadium, due to the limited number of parking spaces at the stadium, it is recommended to use public transport.

To get to the stadium we advise you to favour the train or metro, as buses can be unreliable due to road traffic.

To leave, access to the train may be blocked and reserved for away supporters. We advise you to take the Metro/Tram U79 from the "Kulturstrasse" stop for a more comfortable journey.

What can you eat and drink at Duisburg stadium?

🛍️ Yes, an MSV Duisburg shop is located at the foot of the stadium at the West stand level. It is accessible outside the stadium and open before and after matches.

What are the stands at Duisburg stadium?

The fankurve where active supporters (ultras) are located is in the North stand "König Pilsener Fankurve" (in blocks H and I).

The presidential stand and players' bench are located in the West stand.

The away supporters' section is located in the South stand, block Q and 19.
