Tourism around the stadium

👀 What to see / What to do in Budapest?

The city's location, divided in two by the Danube, with both banks bordered by majestic monuments illuminated at night, makes it a magical place 💫. A river cruise 🛥️ is a must-do, and we particularly recommend it.

🏰 The must-see monuments in Budapest are Fishermen's Bastion, a historic ensemble overlooking the Danube and offering a panoramic view of the city, Buda Castle listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and accessible by funicular, the Hungarian Parliament Building, St Stephen's Basilica, the Opera...

🏊‍♀️ You will also enjoy a moment of unique relaxation in Budapest's thermal baths, which are an institution with very surprising décor. There are several, including the Széchenyi thermal baths which are the largest.

Finally, you must see (and ideally have a drink in) the magnificent Art Nouveau-style Parisi Udvar Hotel.

👟 There is an enormous amount to see in Budapest, varied neighbourhoods, markets, religious buildings including Europe's largest synagogue… if you have time, prepare your visits and wear your trainers as the city is vast.

👉 You can get the Budapest Card to benefit from free public transport and various discounts for visits and activities.
