The Donaustadion was built in 1925 and hosts matches for SSV Ulm 1846.

How to buy tickets for an Ulm match at the Donaustadion?

✅ There are almost never any difficulties getting seats. Note that apart from the 2 main stands, all other stands are standing.

What are the big Ulm matches you shouldn't miss (derbies, rivalries)?

⚔️ Ulm's 2 rival clubs are 1. FC Heidenheim and SSV Reutlingen. Supporters of VfB Stuttgart are also generally not welcome.

🤝 Ulm supporters maintain friendships with supporters of RW Oberhausen.

How to get to Ulm's Donaustadion?

🚆 Tram 1 in the direction of "Böfingen" goes directly to the stadium from the station in 15 minutes, and the route goes through the city centre.

You must get off at the "Donaustadion" stop if your seat is located in blocks A, B, C, D, D1, H, I, K or L (Haupteingang or Block D entrances).

You must get off at the "Wohnpark Friedrichsau" stop (the stop after "Donaustadion") if your seat is located in the away allocation (block G), blocks F or E (Gegentribüne).

🆓 Public transport in the city and surrounding region is free with your match ticket.

From 9am on match day until 3 hours after the match you get a free Kombiticket with your match ticket for the "DING" transport zone. In case of inspection you simply need to present your match ticket.

Which car parks are convenient for getting to the Donaustadion?

There are few parking spaces around the Donaustadion, so it is advisable to park in a park and ride and finish by tram (public transport is free with your match ticket, see below in the "Public transport" tab).

• P+R Sciencepark II Ulm - Free

Two other car parks may be offered near the stadium on match days (to be confirmed depending on the match, see a dedicated article from the club on their website as the match approaches):

• P3 Donauhalle - €5
• P4 Volksfestplatz - €5

🚆 It is recommended to get to the stadium by public transport, especially since it is free with your match ticket. See all information below in "Public transport".

What can you eat or drink at Ulm's Donaustadion?

🌭 The Donaustadion in Ulm offers traditional German stadium food with mainly wursts (white or red grilled sausage) in a small bread roll. Depending on your stand there may be a food truck offering more choice.

🍻 For drinks, the Donaustadion offers a local Gold Ochsen beer (Original or Radler), mulled wine, Afri-Cola, apfelschorle (sparkling apple juice), lemonade (Bluna orange or lemon) and water (medium = sparkling, still = flat) ...

🥤 There is a deposit on the cups with drinks.

💵 ATTENTION, payment for drinks and food is cash only, they do not accept card. You will need to bring enough cash in advance (expect €6.50 for a drink with deposit, €4.50 for a sausage).

The stadium is quite on the outskirts of the city in a residential area, there are not many bars or restaurants around.

Is there a baggage locker at Ulm's Donaustadion?

🛅 There is a locker but only for items prohibited at stadium entry (this is not a service offered but a last resort during security checks).

Is there an SSV Ulm 1846 shop at the Donaustadion?

🏪 There is no large SSV Ulm 1846 shop but there are various stands in the stadium corridors as well as outside the stadium (at the "Haupteingang" entrance) with the usual items: shirts, scarves, caps, small merchandise ...

What are the stands at Ulm's Donaustadion?

🎉 The kop of the local supporter ultras is located in block D / D (South stand).

🚌 The away allocation is located in block G (North stand).

The stand with the players' bench and the entry corridor to the pitch is located at Haupttribüne (blocks A, B, C, K, L to the South-West).
