How to get to Levi's Stadium by public transport?

To get to Levi's Stadium, spectators can take the tram and bus lines operated by VTA (Valley Transportation Authority). 

🚃 The nearest tram station is "Great America" located west of the stadium, in the middle of Tasman Drive. It leads to Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara and Campbell.
To the east, you will find the "Lick Mill" tram station (also located on the median of Tasman).

🚆 Trains operated by ACE serve the stadium from Stockton, Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Vasco, Livermore, Pleasanton and Fremont. 
Trains operated by Capitol Corridor serve the stadium from Auburn, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, Davis, Suisun City, Fairfield, Martinez, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Hayward, Santa Clara, Fremont/Centerville and San Jose.

🚍 VTA also operates a dedicated shuttle service to the stadium from the Warm Springs BART station.

💳 Levi's Stadium is cashless.

🛜 It has over 680 access points allowing WiFi access throughout the stadium.

🚲 A free and monitored bicycle parking is located near gates A and C. It opens 3 hours before the match.
The San Tomas Aquino paved path is open to pedestrians and cyclists and is reserved for ticket holders on match days.

The carpooling drop-off point is located along the bus stop south of Great America Parkway.
The ride-hailing pick-up zone is located at Red Lot 7.

Rules regarding allowed or prohibited bags are particular. Bags must be completely transparent with a maximum size of 30x30cm.

👀 What to See / What to Do in San Francisco

San Francisco is an important financial hub, and Silicon Valley is located there.
But it is also a city rich in tourist attractions.

Among the must-sees: 

🚃 Take the cable-cars to climb the hills of San Francisco, 
They provide a unique view of the city. Those still in service lead to major attractions like Fisherman's Wharf and pass near Lombard Street. The Powell-Mason and Powell-Hyde lines are the most picturesque.

🛳️ Stroll through Fisherman's Wharf which is full of shops and restaurants and walk on Pier 39 to observe sea lions.🦭 This place is very touristy. It is also the departure point for sightseeing boats and ferries to Alcatraz.

🏠 Discover the Painted Ladies located on Steiner Street. It is one of San Francisco's postcards. Admire the colourful Victorian houses lined up along the steep streets, notably Lombard Street with its 8 very famous hairpin turns in cinema. For beautiful photos, go to the Alamo Square viewpoint.

🌉 Admire the Golden Gate Bridge from the bay. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge on foot, by bike or by car. 
At Piers 1-2 is the "Ferry Building Marketplace", a former maritime station that now houses a renowned covered market.
Battery Spencer and Fort Point offer superb angles for photographing the bridge. 📸

On the other side of the bridge is Sausalito with its floating houses. You will discover a beautiful view of the bay.
Sausalito is also accessible by ferry from downtown San Francisco. Its waterfront is full of art galleries, shops and cafes.

Visit other neighbourhoods such as Chinatown and the Mission.
Mission District is a historic neighbourhood, known for its street art, in Clarion Alley and Balmy Alley.
🏯 Chinatown is one of the largest Chinese neighbourhoods in the world. Destroyed following the 1906 earthquake, it was completely rebuilt.

🔭 Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill offers a spectacular view of San Francisco and its bay.

⛓️ Visit Alcatraz prison. To do so, take a ferry from Pier 33. You will enjoy the 360° view of the bay!

Those short on greenery 🌳 will opt for a walk through Golden Gate Park. It spans more than 400 hectares. It is larger than Central Park in New York.

Outside, the Twin Peaks hills reveal one of the most beautiful panoramas of San Francisco. The viewpoint can be reached by line 37 Corbett.

The Exploratorium offers immersive scientific experiences for all ages. You will find it at Pier 15 of the Embarcadero.
The SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) is located in the SoMa neighbourhood.
The California Academy of Sciences is a natural history museum. It also houses a planetarium and an aquarium.

Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants baseball team ⚾, offers an immersive tour of the stadium and great atmosphere during Baseball matches. Opened in 2000 in the South Beach neighbourhood, it has over 42,000 seats. 🏟️
