The Hard Rock Stadium hosts numerous events, concerts and American football matches, baseball... Hard Rock Stadium has hosted 6 Super Bowls.

Since its inception, Hard Rock Stadium has been home to the Miami Dolphins American football team (NFL) and since 2008 it has also hosted the Miami University Hurricanes.

The stadium's original name is "Joe Robbie Stadium". It has also been called Pro Player Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Land Shark Stadium, Sun Life Stadium and New Miami Stadium.

The stadium features a multitude of high-tech equipment, including four high-definition video screens and LED ribbons among the most powerful in the world. It is also equipped with over 2,000 flat screens, including several plasma screens nearly 3m wide, distributed throughout the stadium. It has a roof protecting visitors from rain and sun.

Hard Rock Stadium recently received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. It is one of 6 NFL stadiums to have obtained this Gold certification for its operations.

Hard Rock Stadium will host matches for the 2026 FIFA World CupTo comply with FIFA regulations, the stadium will be called Miami Stadium during the World Cup.

How to get to Hard Rock Stadium by public transport?

🚌 By UBER, UBER SHUTTLE bus shuttle

You can book a seat on an Uber Shuttle bus up to 7 days before the event via the UBER app. Fares and schedules are fixed.

At the stadium exit, the pickup zone is near the Lot 18 bridge near the 199th Street pedestrian bridge. It is marked with signage from the stadium.

The drop-off points are:

  • Brickell – SW 8th St and S Miami Avenue
  • Miami Beach – 4441 Collins Avenue

 

🚘 Rideshare / Carpooling

Rideshare drop-off and pickup zones are located at Lot 44 of the Betty T. Ferguson recreational complex (3000 NW 199th St, Miami Gardens, FL 33056). It is 30 minutes walk from the stadium.

Due to high demand after matches, there can be significant wait times to get a vehicle.

 

🚍 GEICO HRS Express Shuttles

To reach the rideshare pickup zones, free GEICO HRS Express shuttles run to Lot 70 (Seminole Hard Rock Hotel) and Lot 95 (Golden Glades Parking Garage) where it's easier to get a vehicle.

Fans traveling north from the stadium should take the GEICO HRS Express to Lot 70, located across from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel (5700 S SR-7, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314).

Fans traveling south from the stadium should take the GEICO HRS Express to Lot 95 of the Golden Glades Parking Garage (16000 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33169).

GEICO HRS Express shuttles start three hours before kick-off and run for 75 minutes after the match.

 

🚕 TAXIS

Taxis are available on 199th Street after the match on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

🚆 Brightline End Zone Express train

You can reach the "Brightline Aventura" station from the "Fort Lauderdale", "Boca Raton", "West Palm Beach" and "Orlando" stations to Miami.

On match days, there are free round-trip shuttles between Aventura station and Hard Rock Stadium. Look for the END ZONE EXPRESS icon when booking.

"Hard Rock Stadium Connect" shuttles connect Aventura station to the stadium in 10 minutes after each END ZONE EXPRESS train arrival.

Shuttle pickup and drop-off location: NW 199th near the pedestrian bridge Gate 3.

🛅 Does Hard Rock Stadium offer a bag check service?

Rules regarding which bags are allowed are specific. Bags must be completely transparent with a maximum size of 30x30cm.

Bag check locations are near gates 3, 5, 8 and 14. Bag checks close 1 hour after the stadium gates close.

 

🌭 Can you eat at Hard Rock Stadium?

The stadium offers a wide variety of dining and refreshment options. Hard Rock Stadium offers fresh local dishes.

Mobile ordering is available for purchases made at Hard Rock Stadium concessions via the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium apps. You can select a contactless pickup point and receive an SMS notification when your order is ready.
